Introduction

The department offers the Master of Industrial Design, which consist thesis option (35 credit hours) and non-thesis (40 credit hours) option. The applicant must have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or its equivalent from an institution of recognized standing.
Courses are structured to the specific product and systems design area of the student's interest. In certain cases, additional course work beyond the minimum may be needed. There is no language requirement.

Non-Industrial Design Degrees
(Environmental Design Post Baccalaurette Program)

Applicants with a degree from other disciplines may be admitted to the graduate program under condition that a minimum of 43 credit hours in industrial design will be completed at the undergraduate level.The Post Baccalaureate Program awards a Bachelor of Science in Environment Design degree (BEVD) upon completetion of these udergraduate courses.

Professional Fees

As a student in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction (CADC), you will be required to pay a professional fee in addition to your normal tuition. This fee is used to support our professional programs in regard to the provision of information technology infrastructure and the general needs of professional instruction.
