LeBleu Named Program Chair of Landscape Architecture
Charlene LeBleu, FASLA, has been appointed Program Chair and Graduate Provisional Officer of Landscape Architecture effective August 1. LeBleu joined the faculty of the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape in 2004 and is an associate professor of landscape architecture. Her primary areas of interest and research have been focused on green building and water quality issues, especially issues related to low impact development design. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects, the National Vice President of Research for the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). LeBleu will receive the “Kenneth J. Groves Distinguished Leadership Award for a Professional Planner” this October from the Alabama Chapter of the American Planning Association.
