Monica is the Administrative Support Associate in the CADC Dean’s Office where she provides administrative support to the Associate Deans and college staff. Her duties involve college-wide calendar scheduling, reconciling travel and expense vouchers, greeting visitors in the Dean’s suite, managing confidential files/digital archives, assisting with administration of international programs and academic affairs, and coordination of college projects and events.
As a graduate student, Monica worked in several roles including: lab instructor, peer advisor coordinator, academic advisor, lecturer, cooperative extension research assistant, and survey research call center supervisor. During her time as a student at Auburn, she held leadership positions on the Graduate Student Council and served on multiple university committees. Before academia, Monica worked several years in retail management and was employed as an Administrative Assistant/Technical Report Writer for five years with a high voltage electrical maintenance firm.
