Thank You for Supporting Pumpkin Carve
The Auburn University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture thanks all of those who helped us in exceeding our goal to sponsor our famous outreach event, Pumpkin Carve. Pumpkin Carve started off twenty-nine years ago as a studio project and has grown into one of the most celebrated events within our school. It is one of the biggest fundraisers of the year, and the proceeds assist in providing more opportunities for the architecture students and their surrounding community.
Students, faculty, and members of the community come out each year to participate in this all-day event. They carve pumpkins, have lunch, meet Aubie, and compete in a costume contest. Judges pick out the best pumpkins, which are then auctioned off. The event has been bringing people together for years, and it is part of our Auburn Tradition.
Thanks to the generosity of our friends, family and industry partners, we exceeded our goal and raised over $8,000. The proceeds from this fundraiser cover Pumpkin Carve expenses, and funds raised over the given amount help us provide other important opportunities for our architecture students. Your generosity will help us make this another outstanding year for our those involved with the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture.
