Hey there! School is cool but recently I have been struggling with something and I thought I’d share in case it’ll help anyone else. J
This question has been plaguing me the last couple of months. What am I doing with my life? It’s my senior year and in less than six months, I will be graduating. No longer waking up to go to class. No longer taking notes and tests. No longer staying up late to study and falling asleep on my books or laptop instead. I’ve been going to school for 18 years. Those years include pre-kindergarten all the way to now! At this point in my life, my whole existence has been consumed with education so I’m thinking to myself, “What else do I know how to do??”
Then I came to a realization. I don’t have to know how to do everything! No one really does. I don’t have to charge out of the gate knowing where to go, which way to go, and how to get there. It’s all about the experience along the way. There’s no manual on how to do life (or at least I haven’t found it) so trust your gut and use the tools that you have acquired thus far to guide you. And that being said, trust the lessons you’ve learned from school whether you learned them from a professor, a book, or the people around you.
