Celebrating the Women of the Auburn CADC

Please join us and be part of “The Women of Auburn CADC.”

The College of Architecture, Design and Construction joined Auburn’s celebration of 125 Years of Women at Auburn University with this special video created by Madison Champion, a senior in graphic design. First shown at the CADC Awards Banquet, “The Women of Auburn CADC” highlights CADC alumnae from Dorothy Duggar ’28, the first female graduate in architecture, to Vini Nathan, the first female dean of the CADC. The video is a timeline of important events in the 110 year history of the CADC and spotlights a small sample of CADC alumnae. View the video here.

We want to celebrate all CADC alumnae (i.e., our women graduates) and cordially invite all alumnae to participate and be included in the video. It’s easy to do. Just send us your name, graduation date and degree and short description of your professional experience—job title and so on (30 words or less). Please include a high-res head shot.

For example: 1974: Cheryl Morgan graduates in Architecture. Morgan directed the Urban Studio from 2002-2013. She was inducted into the AIA College of Fellows in 2014.

Please submit your information and high-res headshot by March 1 to cadc.communications@auburn.edu

If you know of alumnae who are no longer living, please send us their names so that they may be included.

We look forward to hearing from you. War Eagle!
