Work has been been exhibited in craft galleries and museums in the US, UK and Japan. He was awarded the Best of Show by the Wharton Esherick Museum's Toying with Wood exhibition and has received numerous purchase awards form the Arkansas Arts Center's Toys Designed by Artists. His automata is held by individual collectors across the US in Canada and is represented in corporate collections in the US and Japan.

Recent educational initiatives available because of the proximity of the graphic design program to other professional design programs include:
  • adding letterpress imaging as an elective for Graphic Design majors
  • introducing innovative research involving the use of high tech laser cutting equipment to fabricate printing plates and reproduction antique poster type.
  • developing an innovative new approach to design education in collaboration with Professor Rich Britnell, Professor of Industrial Design and Todd Vaught, Vice President/Principal at Sky Design, Atlanta.
The new venture involves offering a unique multidisciplinary studio experience combining Industrial and Graphic design majors in a shared studio environment.
