William Dunlop has been on the Auburn University faculty since 1995, first in the Department of Fine Arts and currently as a Lecturer in the School of Industrial and Graphic Design. His curricular expertise is in design fundamentals, where he teaches both Design I and Design II in addition to Drawing Fundamentals. After completion of his studies at the Corcoran College of Art + Design in 1977, he served as a school administrator and, subsequently, as a university museum curator at the University of Maryland until 1994. His work is in many private and public collections throughout the United States, and specializes in abstract design based imagery.
