Preparing students to practice visual communication in a global environment, Auburn's nationally regarded Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design is a NASAD accredited degree with emphasis on fine arts, visual/digital interface, packaging, exhibitions, magazine design, logos and identity development. The Graphic Design Program is an eight semester program.

Auburn's NASAD accredited Bachelor of Industrial Design Program is ranked in the top ten nationally and is known for product innovations, point of purchase design, marketing design, commercial environments and branding. Industry sponsored collaborations and international experience are core strength of this nine semester program which leads to a Bachelor of Industrial Design degree.

The Industrial Design Studies degree is offered to students with a non-design background who would like to pursue the first professional Master of Industrial Design. Applicants with a degree from other disciplines may be admitted to the Master of Industrial Design Program under condition that a minimum of 43 credit hours in industrial design will be completed at the undergraduate level. The Industrial Design Studies awards an accredited Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design Studies degree upon completion of these undergraduate courses.
