Student Exchanges

Auburn Students Going Abroad

A select number of CADC professional students have the unique opportunity to participate in an exchange program for one or two semesters with a partner university abroad. Students will earn direct credit for coursework completed.

When studying abroad on an Auburn exchange program, students pay tuition and fees (including professional fee if applicable) to Auburn.  In addition, some service fees from the host institutions may apply.  Other costs include plane tickets, housing, meals, local travel, and personal expenses.

Students interested in an exchange program need to demonstrate self-initiative and a proactive attitude. Our partner institutions have international offices that provide assistance.  However, students selecting an exchange program should not expect a high level of individual attention.  Students will be expected to act independently and reach out when they need assistance.

When you go abroad, an opportunity is opened for a student from the institution you are visiting to come to Auburn to study in the CADC. Exchange programs are based on the balance of students exchanging places, so an institution abroad can only accept as many students as it sends out. As such, our exchange programs have limited space.

Incoming Exchange Students

Students arriving at the CADC and Auburn University are fully integrated into university life and have access to all services Auburn offers. Academically, students are assigned an Academic Advisor within the College, and most courses will be offered within the CADC.
